Women's Team 1

Our Women 1 team, proudly competing in the Premier League, represents the highest level of handball within our club in Islington, London. Established at this level, the squad enters this season with a clear ambition: to push their limits, compete with the best teams, and continue growing on and off the court.

We are the Ratitas—a diverse group of women from all around the world brought together by a shared passion for handball. Our backgrounds may be different, but on the court, we fight as one. More than just teammates, we are friends—a family built on trust, commitment, and unwavering support.

At the heart of the Ratitas is a strong identity rooted in unity, resilience, and inclusivity. We believe every player should feel welcome, valued, and part of something bigger. This team is not only about performance at a Premier League level, but also about building a positive and empowering environment where each individual can thrive.

Through intense training in London and competitive matches across the league, we continuously develop our technical, physical, and tactical abilities. We push each other to improve every day, and when we step onto the court, we play with heart, grit, and determination—fighting together for every point.

While we are driven and ambitious in competition, we also value the moments off the court. Team spirit, friendships, and shared experiences are at the core of who we are, making the Ratitas not just a team, but a true community.
